The world is but a shadow of the self.
Have you come to know this? Have you come to know it can change? How dense becomes the shadow? How suppressed can man become before they transcend?
If you imagine someone who is brave enough to withdraw all his projections, then you get an individual who is conscious of a pretty thick shadow. Such a man has saddled himself with new problems and conflicts. He has become a serious problem to himself, as he is now unable to say that they do this or that, they are wrong, and they must be fought against. He lives in the “House of the Gathering.” Such a man knows that whatever is wrong in the world is in himself, and if he only learns to deal with his own shadow he has done something real for the world. He has succeeded in shouldering at least an infinitesimal part of the gigantic, unsolved social problems of our day.

The shadow self permeates all.
I just kicked this nasty 24 hour flu in which is was a struggle to move across the room. Every muscle ached. I had a strange dream in which I saw the pillar of fire, the flaming cherubim guarding the garden, the kundalini. This pillar is our vital energy running through us all. Like a single flame it runs right down the middle of us. It is this in which keep us from the garden.
It is this holy fire which is growing. Human consciousness expanding. We are the essence of this fire.
The Pillar of Fire is your Mondad….The part of God that you came from. We are indeed an eternal flame.
