Real East meets True West
It is my belief that both constructs of thought have been hijacked for binding people, when both should be used to free us.
In the western thought the christ spirit which is free to all to embrace has been hijacked for control, suffering on the cross being the defining binder.
I say the real east is the clearing of blocks within the body and in the west we see forgiveness being shown as the ultimate freedom given to all, choice yours. Together the true meaning reveals a straight and narrow path.
Be not deceived by the teaching in each, find your way to the truth in both. We are free eternally and we need not suffer the cross, one came and made things anew. Also, do not feel bound by the teachings of the east when they seek to tell us we are not worthy of free will, that we must earn it. We do not, we need only forgive and the door will burst open.
I submit one of the keys to Christ Consciousness is knowing in your heart and or saying out loud (and meaning it) that you would give your life to save others. That is symbolically what Jesus’ death on the cross was portraying. That popped in my head tonight and I thought you might appreciate mulling it over
